McCaffrey Homes Wins National Gold Award For Best Brochure Magazine

FRESNO, Calif. (Feb 10, 2014) – McCaffrey Homes has been honored with a Gold Award by the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB).  The local homebuilder won in the category for Best Brochure Magazine presented by the National Sales and Marketing Council Awards. More popularly known as “The Nationals,” the awards are presented annually at the International Builders’ Show (IBS).

The judges’ statement reads:
More than just a homebuilder brochure, the McCaffrey Homes “Lifestories” magazine brilliantly exemplifies the builder’s commitment to providing buyers with the American Dream. The strong use of visuals and sophisticated type treatments breathe life into what could easily have been “average” testimonials. It draws you in with its authenticity and creates a sense of place that feels less like a builder message and more like a “life story.”

“Our entire team is thrilled and honored to be recognized with a Gold award as prestigious as The Nationals,” said Lauren Knowlton, Vice President of Marketing, for McCaffrey Homes. “This Gold award is a tribute to the hard work of our creative team in bringing the stories of our homeowners to life. We thank them for their contributions and the judges for this honor.”

“The Nationals,” a 33-year-old awards program, pays tribute to cutting-edge sales and marketing across 44 different categories. With more than 800 entries, candidates are subjected to an arduous three-day judging process overseen by top officials in the industry. Winners of the program’s Silver Awards are then finalists for the Gold Awards. This year, McCaffrey won three Silver Awards in the following categories: Best Landscape Design, Best Brochure – Magazine Format and Best Overall Advertising Campaign.

In 2008, McCaffrey Homes secured their first Gold Award in the category of Best Interior Merchandising of a Model. The local builder has also accumulated 10 Silver Awards in the categories of architecture, home design, environmental commitment, landscape design, marketing, mortgage financing and sales.

This year, under the careful eye of Marketing Director Lauren Knowlton and marketing firm InterCommunicationsInc, McCaffrey Homes “Lifestories” magazine topped publications produced by national builders Schumacher Homes and Haseko Development, as well as developer SunCal.

A third-generation builder, McCaffrey Homes continues to provide buyers with the American Dream.  Having constructed more than 8,000 homes McCaffrey is now building in three communities in the Fresno and Clovis, Calif., area: The Heights at Loma Vista, The Gallery in Clovis and the Heights on Copper.  The company has begun planning Phase 1 of Tesoro Viejo, a master planned community in Madera County that will be the center of the Rio Mesa area, with groundbreaking expected in 2015.
